Charity work ...

As part of their annual programme The Centre Theatre Players devote a weekend each year, usually in September, to raise money for various charities. To date the group have raised in excess of £50,000 and this has been donated to more than 20 different charities both local and national. This year’s show - “A RIGHT OLD KNEES UP” (Sept 13/14 @ 1930) will be in aid of “Friends of Dementia” and Parkinson’s Some of the Charities that have benefited to date are: Make a Wish Foundation UK Headway Cambridgeshire Macmillan Nurses The Kidney Foundation The Haemophilia Society The Woodlands Centre Leukaemia Research Heart Research The Alzheimer’s Society Crossroads Care The Stroke Society MENCAP – local & national Cancer Research UK The Broad Leas Centre The Kidney Dialysis Unit, Addenbrookes Hospital British Heart Foundation Guide Dogs for the Blind Marie Curie Arthritis Care If you have links with a local or national Charity and would like to be considered as a beneficiary for a future show - please email us HERE
